Racing enthusiasts enjoy a six-week season for live parimutuel thoroughbred horse racing and year-long simulcasting at the Platte County Agricultural Park. The facilities include a 4,000 seat grandstand, a clubroom with a capacity of 600, a large exhibit hall and an indoor arena where a variety of community, sports and recreation events are held. Or head out to US 30 Speedway to enjoy the thrills of the deafening roar and crashes of stock cars throught the spring and summer.

Horse racing fans enjoy live thoroughbred horse racing at this 5/8-mile track just 6 blocks off U.S. Highway 30 and easily accessible from U.S. Highway 81. The facilities, owned and operated by the Platte County Agricultural Society, include an open-air grandstand with a seating capacity of 3,500. Agricultural Park hosts simulcast horse racing throughout the year. Race fans can enjoy horse racing from around the country in the air-conditioned Clubroom. The clubroom, with its inside and outside stair access, can also be reached by elevator. Food, beverage service, satellite links, strategically placed monitors, and parimutuel tellers all complete this stop for race enthusiasts.

Ready to start your engine? Take a pit-stop at this 1/3-mile clay track, where you’ll see Stock Car Racing every Thursday night from May to September.
